There is a certain electricity in Tempe when the Sun Devils open Big 12 play under the lights. On Saturday, October 3, 2026, Arizona State hosts Baylor at Mountain America Stadium for the "Maroon Monsoon" theme night — and the whole valley floor turns maroon and gold.

If you are bringing a crew, the question is never whether you will have fun. It is whether the two hours before kickoff feel like an event or like a parking argument.

Why Mountain America Stadium Is a Party Bus Game

Tempe's stadium sits wedged between Tempe Butte and the heart of a college town. That is what makes the atmosphere unmatched — and what makes driving yourself a mistake.

Lots fill early. Rio Salado and Mill Avenue lock up hours before kickoff. And after a night game, thousands of people try to leave a canyon at the same moment.

A private motorcoach solves all of it. Your group is dropped near the gates, picked up at a spot you agree on in advance, and nobody spends the fourth quarter worrying about who is driving home.

The Pregame Is the Point

On a Maroon Monsoon night, the whole point is arriving loud. Our party buses come with LED lighting, premium sound, leather perimeter seating and coolers stocked the way you want them.

The tailgate starts the second the doors close at your first pickup. By the time you reach Tempe, your group is already in it.

Building the Perfect Tempe Game Day

The best ASU game days are not just the three hours inside the stadium. They are a full arc, and a bus lets you build it properly.

  • Late morning: Pickup across the Valley — one bus, one loop, no caravan of six cars.
  • Early afternoon: A stop on Mill Avenue for food and a first round while the campus fills up.
  • Pregame: Curbside drop near the stadium gates, well ahead of kickoff.
  • Postgame: Your driver is waiting. Head back to Mill, into Old Town Scottsdale, or straight home.

That last line matters more than people expect. A win in Tempe deserves a second act, and a loss deserves a good bar. Either way, the ride is already handled.

Where to Go After the Final Whistle

Mill Avenue is the obvious move — it is four blocks from the stadium and it will be packed with maroon. For a more polished finish, Old Town Scottsdale is about twenty minutes away and the rooftops stay open late.

Groups coming in from Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa or Queen Creek often do the reverse: start at home, spend the night in Tempe, and let the bus handle the whole return.

Picking the Right Vehicle for Your Group

Game-day groups run the full range, and so does our fleet.

  • 10–14 riders: A stretch limo or sprinter — tight, luxurious, easy to park near campus.
  • 15–24 riders: Our core party bus size. Room to stand, dance and actually tailgate on board.
  • 25–40 riders: The large coaches — ideal for alumni groups, corporate suites and fraternity or family blocks.

Hourly service starts at $150 per hour. A full game day with pregame and postgame typically runs six to eight hours. If you want the bus for the entire day and night, all-day charters start at $2,000. Straight point-to-point transfers to the stadium and back start at $500.

Book Early for a Big 12 Saturday

October Saturdays are the tightest weekends on our calendar. Sun Devil home games, fall festivals and Cardinals Sundays all compete for the same fleet.

Groups that lock in three to four weeks out get the vehicle they actually want. Groups that call on Thursday take what is left.
