El Rey Returns to Downtown Phoenix
Don Omar brings The Last King World Tour to Mortgage Matchup Center on Sunday, November 8, 2026, with an 8 p.m. start.
Reggaeton does not really have elder statesmen. It has kings, and Don Omar has held the title since "Dale Don Dale" first took over a speaker system two decades ago.
A downtown Phoenix arena on a Sunday night for a show like this is loud, hot and packed. It is also one of the best nights the Valley will have all November.
The Downtown Phoenix Reality
Mortgage Matchup Center sits at 201 East Jefferson Street, in the middle of the downtown core. There is no single arena lot — there is a scattered grid of garages, surface lots and street spaces shared with the whole neighborhood.
On an 18,000-seat night, that grid fills. Prices surge, the good garages sell out in advance, and the ones left over put you six blocks away.
Then the exit. Jefferson, Washington and the ramps onto the I-10 all seize up at the same moment, and a ten-minute drive becomes forty.
Sunday Night Has a Catch
Most people work Monday. That makes the getting-home part matter more than usual, and it makes a designated driver an even harder ask.
Nobody wants to be the person nursing a soda at a Don Omar show while everyone else is on their feet.
With a chauffeur, there is no such person. The whole group gets the same night.
What the Charter Actually Buys You
We pick up from one address, anywhere in the metro. Chandler, Mesa, Tempe, Glendale, Avondale — the pickup point is wherever your group already is.
The ride into downtown is part of the show. LED lighting, a premium sound system, leather seating and a bar area you can stock before you leave.
We drop at a permitted curb near the arena entrance, so the walk in is a block, not a garage expedition.
After the encore, you do not race anyone. You wait out the surge, text your chauffeur, and walk to a pre-arranged pickup point a short distance from the doors.
Before and After
Downtown Phoenix has real range within a few blocks of the arena — Latin kitchens, rooftop patios, late-night spots that stay open past the show.
Groups often eat early near Roosevelt Row, then head to the arena. Others skip the pre-show and route toward Old Town Scottsdale afterward, which is roughly twenty minutes east and very much awake.

Choosing Your Vehicle

- Executive sprinter — twelve to fourteen in high-back comfort, quieter and more refined.
- Party bus — twenty to forty passengers, standing room, LED lighting and serious sound. The obvious pick for a reggaeton night.

Hourly charters start at $150 per hour. All-day bookings start at $2,000 and point-to-point transfers start at $500. Every night is quoted on its own route, date and headcount.
Lock It In Early
The first full week of November 2026 is stacked across the Valley — amphitheatre country on Thursday, two arena nights in Glendale on Friday and Saturday, and this on Sunday.
Large vehicles come off the board across all four dates at once. Waiting until the week of the show usually means taking whatever is left.
