What's Actually Happening This Year

The centerpiece is the Great Gilbert Gourd Hunt, scattered across the Heritage District for the full run. This year's installations come from renowned pumpkin artist Ray Villafane, whose carved work is closer to sculpture than seasonal decor.

The Celebration Soundscape plays nightly from 6 to 10 p.m. on the east patio at Water Tower Plaza, at the top of every hour — an original composition by local composer Dalton Attig.

Opening night, September 25, brings ¡Viva! A Celebration of Hispanic Heritage to Water Tower Plaza from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.
