There is a particular kind of roar that only happens when eight seconds feels like eight minutes.

Desert Diamond Arena gets loud for arena rock and for hockey. Bull riding is a different animal entirely — the kind that turns a sold-out room into one long held breath.

The Arizona Ridge Riders are back on home dirt for PBR Teams: Ridge Rider Days, three nights of head-to-head professional bull riding in Glendale from Thursday, October 8 through Saturday, October 10, 2026.

Eight PBR teams chase one title. And the Westgate Entertainment District wrapped around the arena turns into a block party before and after every buzzer.

The Weekend at a Glance

  • Thursday, October 8 — 7:45 p.m. MST
  • Friday, October 9 — 7:45 p.m. MST
  • Saturday, October 10 — 6:45 p.m. MST
  • Venue: Desert Diamond Arena, Glendale — inside the Westgate Entertainment District

Three nights means three ways to build an evening around it. Most groups take Friday or Saturday, when Westgate's patios run full from happy hour straight through last call.

Why Westgate Punishes Anyone Who Drives

Westgate is one of the densest entertainment footprints in the Valley. An arena, two dozen restaurants and bars, and State Farm Stadium all share the same grid of surface lots.

On a PBR night that grid fills early and then empties all at once. You circle for a space, pay for it, and finish the evening walking your group back across a dark lot while several thousand people do exactly the same thing.

A party bus removes every piece of that. You are dropped at the door, and the bus is parked and waiting when the last rider is scored.

It also settles the argument nobody wants to have. Bull riding and cold beer are a package deal, and somebody always ends up appointed driver. Not on this trip.

Building the Night Around the Buzzer

The best version of this weekend starts long before the chute gate opens. Here is the shape we run most often for Ridge Rider Days groups.

Pickup, 4:30 p.m.

We collect everyone from one address — a house in Peoria, an office in Phoenix, a resort in Scottsdale. One pickup point beats four cars converging on Glendale from four directions.

Westgate, 5:30 p.m.

Drop at the Westgate fountains for dinner and a drink on a patio. Two hours there is the sweet spot before a 7:45 p.m. start.

Arena doors, 7:00 p.m.

A short curbside hop to Desert Diamond Arena. No lot, no shuttle, no hike.

After the final ride

This is where the party bus earns its keep. Westgate's bars stay loud well past the last score, and your ride home is a rolling lounge instead of a rideshare surge.

The Fleet, and What It Costs

Group size drives the vehicle. A stretch limo suits six to ten for a polished, black-tie-adjacent arrival. Our party buses carry larger crews with LED lighting, premium sound, and room to actually stand up and talk.

Hourly charters start at $150 per hour. All-day packages start at $2,000 when you want the vehicle held from afternoon through last call. Straight point-to-point transfers start at $500 if you only need the round trip to the arena.

Every ride includes a professional chauffeur who knows the Glendale grid, the Loop 101 exits, and exactly which curb clears fastest when 12,000 people leave at once.

Coming From Anywhere in the Valley

Ridge Rider Days pulls from the whole map. We run Glendale groups out of Phoenix, Scottsdale, Peoria, Surprise, Avondale, Goodyear, Buckeye, Litchfield Park and the East Valley without blinking.

If Glendale is your home base, our Glendale limo and party bus page covers local pickup zones and the routes we run on arena nights.

Book Before the Weekend Locks Up

October 8–10 is a heavy weekend in the West Valley. PBR is not the only thing pulling crowds toward Westgate, and our fall Saturdays go first.

Three to four weeks of lead time is the difference between the vehicle you want and the one that happens to be left.

Reserve your ride at jacobtransportation.com/booking-inquiry or call (602) 866-7777. Tell us the headcount and the pickup city — we build the rest around it.
