The Smashing Pumpkins at Mortgage Matchup Center: The Phoenix Party Bus Guide

Thirty years after Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness arrived as a double album nobody asked for and everybody needed, The Smashing Pumpkins are bringing it back to Phoenix.

The Rats in a Cage Tour stops at Mortgage Matchup Center on Wednesday, November 11, 2026. Doors and set times land in the 7 p.m. hour, and the format is the draw: two distinct sets, one built around the Mellon Collie anniversary and one pulling from nearly four decades of hits and deep cuts.

It also falls on Veterans Day — a midweek holiday for a lot of the Valley, which turns a Wednesday show into a genuine night out.

Two Sets, One Very Long Catalog

This is not a greatest-hits run with an anniversary sticker on it. The tour is structured so that the Mellon Collie material gets its own dedicated stretch.

That means Tonight, Tonight, 1979 and Bullet with Butterfly Wings sit inside a set that also makes room for the album's stranger corners.

The second set is where the other 35 years live. Billy Corgan has never been shy about reaching into the catalog, and a two-set arena show gives him the runway to do it.
