From October 30 through November 1, 2026, the 16th Annual Sonoran Fine Art & Wine Festival fills its western-style plazas, shaded shops and botanical gardens with local and regional artists.

Expect bronze and clay sculpture, hand-blown glass, ceramics, forged metalwork, photography, boutique clothing and jewelry you will not find in any mall. Admission is free and the parking is easy.

The wine, of course, is the part that is not free — and it is exactly why the ride matters.

The Honest Problem With a Wine Festival in the Far North Valley

Cave Creek Road is a beautiful drive. It is also a long, dark, two-lane run back toward Scottsdale and Phoenix once the sun drops behind Black Mountain.

A fine art and wine festival is a tasting event by design. You are meant to move from pour to pour, compare an Arizona red against a regional white, and linger over lunch between galleries.

What to Know Before You Go

Stagecoach Village is at 7100 E. Cave Creek Road, Cave Creek, AZ 85331. The layout is walkable but spread across several levels and plazas, so wear something you can stand in for a few hours.

Halloween weekend is the other story here. October 31 falls on the Saturday, which means Cave Creek's bars and Old Town Scottsdale are both running at full volume that night.

If your group wants the festival by day and a costume night after, say so when you book. One vehicle, one driver, no re-planning at 9 p.m. in a parking lot.

Choosing the Right Vehicle

Smaller parties of two to six tend to want an executive SUV or a stretch — quiet, climate-controlled, and easy to load with art.

Groups of eight and up almost always end up happier on a party bus. Standing room, sound, cold drinks and the ability to talk to everyone instead of the back of a headrest.
