Suns vs. Mavericks on Black Friday: The Downtown Phoenix Party Bus Guide

Black Friday has a better option than a parking lot outside a mall.

On Friday, November 27, 2026, the Suns host the Dallas Mavericks at Mortgage Matchup Center in downtown Phoenix — the final home date of Emirates NBA Cup group play, with tip-off at 7:00 p.m.

Why this one carries weight

NBA Cup group play is not a stretch of ordinary November basketball. Group standings decide who advances, and a single result can end a team's run in the tournament.

That is the difference between a regular Friday and this Friday. It is the Suns' last chance to bank a Cup win at home, against a Western Conference rival, on a holiday weekend night with a full building.

Tickets start around $55. Gates typically open about an hour before tip, so a 6:00 p.m. arrival gets you inside without a rush.

The downtown Phoenix problem on a holiday Friday

Mortgage Matchup Center sits at 201 East Jefferson Street, in the middle of a downtown core that is excellent at hosting events and genuinely difficult to park in.

Garages near the arena fill well before tip. Street parking around Jefferson and Washington is scarce and metered. Post-game, every exit funnels onto the same few streets at the same minute.

And November 27 is not a normal night even by downtown standards. A stadium-scale concert is running in Glendale the same evening, which pulls large vehicles across the entire Valley at once.

What a party bus changes about game day

Your chauffeur drops your group at the doors on Jefferson and handles everything after that. No garage. No eight-block walk in dress shoes. No one tracking who parked where.

The vehicle is the pre-game. Leather seating, LED lighting, premium sound, coolers you stock yourself, and climate control — so the hour before tip is part of the night instead of a commute.

Then the part that sells itself: when the final buzzer sounds and twenty thousand people head for the same ramps, your coach is staged and waiting. You are moving while the garages are still gridlocked.

Group sizes we run for game day

• 2–6 guests — luxury sedan or SUV. Clean, direct, ideal for a client pair or a date night.
• 8–14 guests — executive sprinter. The sweet spot for a work crew or a season-ticket group.
• 15–30 guests — full party bus. Birthdays, out-of-town family, corporate nights.

Build the full downtown night

A 7:00 p.m. tip leaves room on both ends, and the arena is surrounded by walkable blocks.

• Dinner first in the Warehouse District or on Washington, then a short hop to the doors.
• Stay out after. Keep the vehicle and roll to a downtown rooftop or on to Old Town Scottsdale — your chauffeur waits either way.
• Holiday-weekend pickups. We collect groups across Scottsdale, Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Glendale and Peoria so visiting family never touches a rental car.

Rates and booking

Game-day service starts at $150 per hour. Point-to-point transfers start at $500, and all-day charters start at $2,000 if you want the vehicle from dinner through last call.

About the date: Thanksgiving weekend is the hardest weekend of the year to source a large vehicle in this market, and this particular Friday is double-booked across the Valley. If a party bus is the plan, treat early booking as part of the plan.

Call (602) 866-7777 or submit a booking inquiry and we will size the vehicle and build the timeline around a 6:00 p.m. arrival.

Our Phoenix party bus and limo service page has the rest of what we cover downtown, and we serve all 22 cities across the metro.

Cup night, a rival in town, and a chauffeur holding the door on Jefferson. Skip the shopping — this is the better Black Friday.
